About Barbara Friesner:
Barbara Friesner is an expert on issues affecting seniors and their families, and has been featured on NY1 TV's "Focus on Seniors," "Coping With Caregiving" (wsRadio), and WVOX Radio in New York. As care manager, first for her grandmother and now her mother with dementia, Friesner learned firsthand how overwhelming, stressful and time-consuming elder care can be. As a result, Friesner launched AgeWiseLiving-based in New York, N.Y., to help others navigate through this challenging time, and avoid the emotional and frustrating task of finding the answers themselves and trial-and-error implementation.
Friesner is an adjunct professor at Cornell University, and created and taught "Seniors Housing Management" at the School of Hotel Administration. As a Generational Coach® and seminar leader, Barbara has collaborated with hundreds of family members, professionals with senior clients, and employees of Assisted Living communities to help them successfully build relationships and address critical elder care issues.
EDITOR’S NOTE: Members of the media are welcome to attend Barbara Friesner’s presentation. Reporters interested in arranging private interviews with Ms. Friesner should contact Summer Evans, PR senior account executive, by emailing sevans@glynndevins.com or calling (913) 754-2338.
